Less Then 8,000 Miles... New Radiator

So today I had to have a new radiator installed. I think the old radiator had been leaking for awhile. It was a very small amount that I noticed a few weeks back... just like a few drops on the garage floor. It was more on Sunday... so I took it in this morning. I'm not sure if my last Monday trip to the Badlands finished it off?

I have ordered a radiator skid, as I had someone suggest when I bought the TJ. Get this that the TJ's radiator has a plastic top and bottom! So what does this all mean, put skids on your Jeep if you are going to wheel it.

My brother has gone through two radiators on his 2000 TJ...each of his lasted about 40K miles....
