    G'day all,
James here from Darwin Australia. :)

New to the forum and new to KJ's. I recently sold my XJ Cherokee which was a sad day but tomorrow I pick up my new KJ Cherokee.
Have plans to turn it into a touring vehicle to travel right around Australia.
It's the Renegade with cool looking wheel flares, has side rails, nudge bar, spotties, lockable roof racks, CB radio and electric trailer brakes. The car is in great condition and only has about 117000 kms on the clock.
A set of mud tyres and a 2 inch lift will be ordered Monday.
Looking forward to starting a build thread as the mods start.
    Good times.

    Cheers,
    James.

    Thanks for the welcome.
I'm not sure what lift to go for just yet. I'm not after anything over the top. Would love OME but it's damn expensive.
I'll be chasing some quotes at the local 4WD shops today then after picking myself up off the floor I'll order one of ebay and fit it myself. haha

You really only have 2 choices,
OME and you can get the Ironman over there
anything else will not hold up, will ride like crap and you'll hate your Jeep

I got a quote for the Ironman lift and it wasn't too bad even with them fitting it. I'll most likely be getting that at this stage.

I got the car registered in my name and personalised plates ordered yesterday.
    Tyres to be fitted today.

It might be time to start my build thread I'm thinking.
Thanks again for the warm welcome.

    Cheers,
    James.
