Morning all,
I have a Jeep Liberty 2.5CRD 2004 model - a rare animal in the States. I have got to the millage where I need to change the coolant. Are there any tricks to doing this change? I know the following:
1) Header tank drain point - remove the feed pipe.
2) Radiator drain plug.
3) Is there a drain for the block?
4) Will running the heater on full get all the old coolant out of it or is it best to flush the whole system with distilled water before filling with the new coolant - 50% mix?
5) What is the best anti-freeze to use on this Jeep? Things in Africa get very hot in summer!
Thanks in advance. I hope this topic has not already been covered but there does not seem to be too much info on the 2.5 or 2.8 CRDs!
