I just bought a 2002 Jeep Liberty Limited Edition 4x4. I paid $8,000.00 out the door. It has 75,276 miles on it. As far as I can tell, it has every option available except ABS. I don't know how that is possible, unless the option is hidden in the Tow Package. Below, I'm posting the info from the build sheet. I am falling in live with this Jeep.

Body style: KJJP74
Engine: EKG-3.7L V6 Engine
Transmission: DG4-Multi-Speed Auto 45RFE Transmission
Color 1: PX8-Black Clear Coat
Color 2: QX8-Black Clear Coat
In Service Date: September 8, 2001
Car Line: K
Build Date: June 30, 2001
Hour: 01 (I've always heard the plant does some of it's best work in Hour 1. Everyone is fresh.)

One outstanding recall:
Recall Number: F23, Lower Ball Joints (Being done in the morning at the dealership)

No Warranties

She lived in Corinth, Mississippi for her first 37K miles. Then she moved to Collierville, Tennessee for the ballance. No salt, no flood. Awesome!nana.gif

Vehicle Option - All (it actually says "All" on the build sheet)

Sounds good. It is pretty optioned out. I wonder if someone ordered it that way originally?

Where's the pic? Black jeeps rock.

If you can trace it back to the dealer who had it first you could ask...

I called the dealership where she was first purchased. They said they would have no way of knowing whether she was a showroom model or special order. He referred me to the Multi VIN Summary Report which I have. I'm sure there would be a code of some kind for special order. I just don't know where to look. I may just email Chrysler and see if I can get a response.

I imagine you could research the units per hour, the innitial date of model production, and the hour and date of your vehicle production and get a "ballpark" idea of the number of your Jeep. But, I'm sure quality assurance has more detailed info than that on our Jeeps.

Here are the pictures. I was in a hurry on my way to work. So, these aren't the best pictures. I'm having her detailed and completely touched-up. I'll have better pictures then.

Dealership

I went to the dealership. I hate going there. It is soooo expensive. I do a lot of my own work, but, I wanted them to go over it one time. I found out that my heater went cold at stops due to a loose coolant cap. The other thing is that I need to do my drive-train maintenance:eek:. I guess I'm off to the How-to section.

Collierville? Ya don't say!
ThunderbirdJunkie's mom works at the ER there, and ThunderbirdJunkie worked at Wolfchase Chrysler.

That there is a damn fine looking Jeep you've got!

Hm. Don't remember a Chad, must be after ThunderbirdJunkie's time. Haven't worked there in about 4 years.

Congrats on the sweet new shiny rig!

If you don't need to have plates up front, why the plate holder?
Also, please remove that spare cover. It looks much better without the cover.
