Besides a warm wash cloth & Ivory soap (maybe that is best?)
Are there any cleaners to remove grime and not leave a hideous shine?

I usually use a swifter duster when it's just covered in pollen. Otherwise I use the shiny stuff to get dirt off.

I use the Meguiars Quick Interior cleaner. They also have a natural shine protector that doesn't add any shine to it.

Use the Meg's stuff or my fav, Surf City Garage Interior cleaner. Both the Meg's and SCG have protection in them, so no real need for a separate one. Neither are greasy.

Thanks Guys! With ur recommendations I looked em up..
I would like to find Meguires Quick Interior Detailer/cleaner, I guess it has a good scent.
G13616- link: http://www.meguiars.com/en/automotive/products/g13616-quik-interior-detailer%E2%84%A2/
Why do the bottles look different here?
This appears to be a different product for Canada only bottle/ lacks the word cleaner... (maybe our french label requirements is what always screws things up)
Link: Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer | Canadian Tire
Hopefully another supplier must have the G13616...it is so hard to find good stuff here.
Nothing comes up on Canada sites..just laughable..ha ha not funny. Our product #s don't cross over?
Post #11 from member Unlimited (back in 2007) indicated Lordco has some Meguires products here.

Will see what happens tomorrow..I hope I find G13616, may just have to grab anything..

Here is an example of Canada's french label requirements and separate manufactured bottles required for this country.
This explains why many US products are not available in Canada....here is the straight "goods" ...

It does nothing for scratches however, really did not expect it to.
What did remove scratches well was Meguires #2 polish over top.
So interior is way cleaner today, and I noticed on plastic gauge cover it cleaned well, no streaks...good stuff.
Time 4 a beer...so..

I am not sure two bucks is fair....especially if it's hot outside....
But a cold 6 pack would help to eliminate dehydration while I do the detailing!
Might as well make it a dozen..by then we could work on adjusting the ebrake too!

I just wanted to add if you look at the last photo in post 7 you can see the driver's WeatherTech Mat was really faded and almost white looking in sun.
I tried cleaners, Armorall, nothing seemed to work to make it look new again.
I bought some more Mother's Back To Black, and I have to say now they are black again.
Now the mats look awesome.

Another one I like to use to restore black color to things like trim and the Husky liners/weathertechs is Bondo Restore black...it actually has black dye in it and lasts for nearly a year.

Thanks, and HJ I want to try that Bondo Restore black product, especially for exterior on jeep as well.
Question- if I was to use that on the weather Techs I am sure it may last longer but is it slippery when u use it on the mats? Quick dry?

Not slippery that I've noticed, you can control how much you apply. But I've never thought it to feel slippery.
