Went up to the mall today, and walking out to my KJ I see a kid in a TJ parked next to me on a snowpile, and walking past he says "your Jeep is badass" with his buddy as they laugh and I keep walking and get into my Jeep..
About a few hours later I see this picture on facebook:

I don't know him, except for the fact he lives on my girlfriends steet, and he use to like her...
Not sure why some people needs to be d*cks for no reason.

What bothers you?
The fact he made a comment?
That he parked on the snow?
The post on face book?

What is the build of his Jeep?
Is it what we locally call 95% of the JK's out there
"all show with no go"
That is does it have more than lift and tires?
Find a way to call him out I do all the time when
the JKers find them self to good to wave at a clearly
"Jeeped" TJ then claim "oh yeah I have been off road a
bunch of times" I tell them well great let's go I know just
the place and I don't like going alone
99% give an excuse
.5% back out when they find out the entrance is across a 2
foot deep ditch
Those who try most times end up stuck do to
"fear of the skinny pedal"
You need to try the same approach

It doesn't seem like he did more than try to show off. Was there an inappropriate comment or something I'm missing?

I noticed that too, I think its just the angle of the picture and the fact that the parking lot is sloped down...

It was the comment of the TJ being a real Jeep and a renegade is shit.
There is a little more as comments go on and he seems to feel that KJs are not real Jeeps..
It just makes me want my OME lift even more now.. Time to sell the Yukon!

After discussing this with a wrangler owner
Much like my self he had both the TJ and KJ
and sold the KJ for better mpg
He pointed out the reason he thinks that
Wrangler owners show KJ owners no love
A wrangler owner lifts his ride and looks for
the biggest MT's he can find
He is not concerned with with road noise
or how well they weather they get good wet
traction or not all he wants is the best off road
traction he can get
He also pointed out that when you read about the
mods wrangler owners have done it is rare you read
about his tinted windows or the roof rack he has
or the brush guard he removed his tow hooks to
instal
You do read about his cage tie in or how he beefed
up his control arm mounts
How he modded this skid plate to work like that
And so on

He pointed out that wraner owners for the most part
can buy a bolt on something but also have no fear
in cutting and welding to make what he wants out
of what he has
If KJ owners would follow this example and stop
complaining about what the after market does
not make for them maybe they would get the
respect they want
