So know im trying to figure out how much I can salvage...

I hit my drivers side front and ripped the front end right off a cab.. Mine seems ok his does not.

Can I jack up all 4 corners and engage 4 wheel drive just to check my front diff is working? I have a truetrac in there and I can't seem to get my c.v. out of it..

I will post a pic tomorrow and see if I'm swimming upstream...

...Damn.......hope you are ok.

Sorry for your KJ. Is it going to be ok/fixable?

Maybe you should consider taking a trip to Ohio and get Bob's awesome KJ?

I'm fine so is he, my question is this,
Can I jack up all 4 wheels and run my truck in 4 wheel drive to test my front diff isn't broken internally? Will this cause any problems??

I don't see why not.. although you should be able to tell just by driving it and shifting into 4-wheel. It IS still drive-able, right?

I'd just patch it up for now, get it safe and staying together; then fix it more permanently as you can.

I assume since it was a collision, is insurance involved at all?

Yeah young guy tried to turn through a yellow I'm glad nobody got hurt.

I bent my lca mount bracket back into place ystrdy now I just have to try to pry out my broken off half of cv axle stuck in the diff. Not easy!! Might have to drop it for 1000th time

Little bit of body damage on mine I will bend it and weld a bumper up out of tube and plate like I saw pics online!!

Will be better than ever
