Put together this mount so I could get the hi-lift out from under the backseat on wheeling trips.
Used a piece of channel, I got from Tractor Supply. Had to grind down the bolt ends to get a tight fit in the channel, used a nut on the other side.
Tail gate is curved, used 5 stainless fender washers under each end.
Centering is important, don't want to smash the tail light when opening the gate.
Worked out well, the only rattle Ive detected is from the jacks foot.
Today's task is to get it primed and painted.
