I have this squeak going on. I am lifted but i believe it is the brakes. The video ***** but you can hear the sound. I am not pressing the brakes until the end of the video. I changed my brakes like a month or two ago because of a squeak fixed it for a bit. The old brakes still had alot of life but the plate that is pressed on the back came off and was rubbing the base of the rotor towards the lugs. I just want to know is this braking noise cvs drive shaft. It makes no noise in reverse.

The slides being the rubber things on the bolts?

No they go in the middle of the rubber
It's what your caliper bolt goes into
You must be registered for see images attach

Slides ^
These go bad and some people say to replace every couple brake changes
Went and bought new caliper bolts while installing my lift just to have new ones and they came with the slides
Mine were good so now I have new ones whenever I need them
You have to grease them good when putting them in

Ima have to check that out. Is wheel bearing grease fine or something special is needed. How much were those. Would a regular store have them like autozone or pepboys.

Jesse, you just need brake caliper grease.
It goes on the caliper slider pins, the rubber boot goes over it like you mentioned.
They are also used on brake pads too.

any LAPS would have it.
hope that's the fix!
