I just bought a 2002 Jeep Liberty with 139k kms on it. It's in pretty good shape and I plan on making it into a fishing\camping rig for mild offroad. Questions that brought me here...
The 45RFE transmission apparently can be unlocked into a 5 speed? How do I get that done? Does it need to be done by a Chrysler dealership or can I get a diag machine and do it myself\back yard mechanic?
Can you refurbish the door hinges or are they replace only? Where do I get parts in Canada?
Common mods and upgrades for off-road?
