Its come time to add yet another mod to my Liberty. I already know one I'm doing, but need help on deciding on what else I'm gonna do.

Soon, I'm going to be tinting the tail lights with VHT Niteshades.

Now here comes the ones I need help deciding,

    I can either get:
    - Xenon HIDS (Looking at 10k, maybe 8k.)
    - OR A Flowmaster Super 44 Muffler.

Here's the thing, I'm leaning towards the HIDS. But I've been thinking about Straight Piping my Liberty. Has anyone done that before and did you like it?

    Thanks!

In other words, what should I get? The HIDS or exhaust mod? And if the exhaust mod; Straight Pipes, Muffler, or Dual Exhaust? Thanks!

Flowmaster could be cool but straight piping is just annoying for most situations. The body of a liberty is not such to absorb much sound from the floor, so you would get a headache about as bad as the people around you. I would vote HiD if you want to go that route. Safer and more practical(assuming you don't blind your oncoming traffic)

My decision would be based on how much night driving I actually do

Would you suggest the muffler with stock exhaust pipe or all new pipes and everything?

I'm leaning towards HID's...but a 3.7 sounds nice with just a 44, and no other mods...

Personally I would rather have you sound good than blind everyone coming at ya!

Between the two just throw the muffler on there. Save yourself from wasting money on the HID's.

This. Unless you do the hid right and retrofit projectors, don't do it!
