I went to change my ABS sensor on my 2006 liberty 4x4 3.7l on the front left and what I got is not the same as what is on it?!? Anyone have this issue before? The one on it is rounded and the one I got has a stem on it.

The correct terminology is "wheel speed sensor"
What was the code #?

C100A- OBD2 code= Left front wheel speed sensor circuit.
I can not explain the difference. Did thy supersede/update the part number?
Have you called the dealer and gave them your VIN Number ? What was the part # the dealer is now recommending?
2006 Parts fiche recommends 52128695AE.

That's the number dealer gave me. I ended up just replacing the hub assembly and it came with new sensor. I think it was an updated design. The dealership person I spoke to seemed clueless.

I suppose I should not be surprised by the lack of parts desk experience.
The other problem is they sell news jeeps, & many might not even know what a KJ is ! :(
Sounds like an updated hub & I'm glad to hear you have it fixed now.

Is the one on the right connected to a long wire? I cannot tell from the picture. From the picture it looks like the one that goes in the read differential.

Scratch my response -- most of the parts I can see at Rock Auto look like your new one. I had to replace mine. I replaced my hubs and the new ones that came with my hubs were causing issues. I sucked it up and got mopar. It has been a while since I did that so my memory was fuzy.

I figured I'd add to this thread instead of starting a new thread, in case it helps others.

I went to pull my sensor out, and it broke off stuck in the hub. Has anyone had any success drilling out the remains and putting a new one in there? If my wheel bearing isn't toast I'd like to try and save the hub/bearing.
