Hey all, I’ve been wanting to upgrade my exhaust and I’ve narrowed it down to 3 options.

    1-MBRP Catback
    2-Thrush welded muffler
    3- Magnaflow 11226

I’m also open to other options. I just want something that’s deep/throaty, and not obnoxiously loud

I'm going to just get a Walker OE replacement from Amazon... I don't need a special, aftermarket exhaust... I just need it to not be leaking out the seems of the muffler.

I figured, factory part lasted 13+ years... Personally, not going to spend more than I have to in order to make it quiet.

Eh that’s relative question but it’s perfect for me. I don’t want loud or drone and this wasn’t over $400 either.
Look at them closely - literally a clone design. Like SLP did with magnaflow

No- but I can Idle and revs vs actually driving is a big difference

The stock muffler burbles when you rev it right around 1600 rpm so that’s more pronounced.
Inside noise is barely noticeable. Outside it has low rumble.

How much louder than stock, I’m seriously considering it

Just came back from some trails- once it’s washed , that tip and exhaust are flat
Black. The bbq paint from Home Depot works like a charm. Keeps the system from rusting and doesn’t smell when heated.

IMHO it’s what a factory aftermarket upgrade should sound like. A milder upgrade over stock

Bonus - being it’s round canister style muffler - those upper rear arm bolts are accessible now

My 2002 jeep liberty sport i actually did a cat delete with a flowmaster super 10 exhaust single in single out and have it curved out and around the back side of the front right passenger wheel, has a nice throaty noise at idle and has that steady purrr when you on the highway.

You have your exhaust coming out behind your front wheel? Or am I missing something? If so that's rather unusual.

Cat converter deleted? Both of them? Short exhaust pipe. That has to be horrible. O2 sensors must be freaking out too, MIL on... no thanks. If I wanted a race car style exhaust I'd be driving a Camaro. No offense, not my thing. It's a Jeep, not a demo derby car.

yeah its coming out and around right before the front right wheel well and its pointing out and back towards the rear of my jeep so it doesnt float into the inside at all.
