Looking at the exhaust system on the daughters 2003 v6 - there are three Cats.
One per bank just after the manifolds that then feed into a Y collector, then into a 3rd cat and on into the muffler.
The O2 sensors are all ahead of the 3rd cat, so I am theorizing I can remove the huge janky muffler, and that last in the stream cat and replace both with a single Dynomax 17733 Super Turbo muffler.
so to repeat in a different way, keeping the two cats and all four o2 sensors as they are, all mods are after the Y collector.
Anyone able to input reasons this could cause problems with the Jeep?
See what I did there... I said "problems with the Jeep" Lets try to stay on track there
Goal is no error codes, muffler up much higher. lose weight is nice, the cat hangs down a bit...
