hi i have jeep kj 3.7 2006 with 165k
after fan clutch and mopar 195 degree thermostat i can see that my operating temperature while driving highway is about 92-95 Celsius but while driving in heavy traffic its rising to 98-100 Celsius,is it OK?

You are doing fine.
The KJ's run fairly warm and the electric cooling fan does not even come on until around 219F or 103c.
Here is a good info re fan temps mechanical and electrical see post #4 for some good info from TJKJ.

My OBD2 displays 215F or 101c & the fan has not come on yet. I see 237F on warm days with fan running.

Always ensure Hoat coolant or Zerex G-05 is used for coolant in our KJ's.

thanks!!but its very high =( maybe its better to replace thermostat to 180 degree?
and where did you got the small libby ? =)

i meant 97-105 It's pretty high for road/highway driving,i had some off road vehicles before libby and its never was so high,maybe 100 Celsius while climbing rocks or sand.

The underhood heat has no where to vent on the kj and summer temps can cook hotdogs well quickly.
The hood blanket could be removed and hood louvers could be cut into hood.
I often in summer remove the rubber seal along the plastic windshield cowling to remove some of the engine bay heat.

Thanks, my KJ is currently clean, however HJ's rig is more polished, and requires sunglasses to view even at night lol!

However come winter, our Jeeps are often in need of a serious bath!
I look at it this way, a dirty Jeep is the sign of a clean mind ! ;)

Mine looks good in the summer too, in the fall with hunting & in the winter with the salt not so much.
