Hello All! I have been fighting the P0456 for awhile now and lately P04555. I have changed out the purge valve and vapor leak detection pump, both made by Standard Motor Products. I bought a smoke machine and smoked out the system. With the pump filter being choked, there is nothing visible. I input the smoke on the line from the purge valve line that goes to the back of the car. The fuel vapor pressure sensor comes with the fuel tank my local dealer told me and that that is discontinued from Mopar. No leaks around the top of the tank. Any thoughts?

I had evap leak codes that would come and go, finally would not pass smog check. Hunted around and found a split in a rubber tube under vehicle near fuel tank and rear axle. I do not remember exactly which one, but I had a piece of rubber tubing that I was able to replace it with. I would say it was about 1/2" diameter around 8-12 inches long.

I had a similar problem and found two rubber hoses going to the evaporator from the engine just under the driver’s side that had cracked. The lines are mostly metal but in that area there are 2 rubber lines connecting the metal lines. I just took the old ones to NAPA and had them match the width and got some small clamps to go with them.
