i have a 2012 KK with the Bosch TB assembly.
i am experiencing slow return to idle, when in park or neutral.
some people say its normal but i m not sold.
is there a way to clean the IAC like other cars?
or the whole unit needs to be replaced?

It's not like the Kj that has the separate IAC for cleaning. The drive by wire system is quite different, throttle body all self contained.
Slowly return to idle, may be normal IDK another member may offer an opinion.
I do know that the gas pedal basically outputs throttle position sensor information/ potentiometer.
The ECM then makes changes based on throttle positions and without a KK factory service manual, I'm in the dark regarding specific testing & diagnostics.
If I owned a KK... I would surely buy a FSM from online pdf or where ever.
Do you have any stored codes or light on?
It's really easy to change out the TB, I wonder if the dealer would allow you to swap another one in for testing? ha ha...

You are welcome.
If anyone buys a KK factory service manual pdf ..PLEASE send me a copy.
Then I can offer more accurate assistance to other KK owners !!!

My 2011 drops to idle super quick. The only time it does not is the first start of the day. Even the eco stuff works, wish I could turn it off. Talking about it shutting of the injectors when trying to coast to a stop light. The Jeep doesn't coast .
