That is the boot on the silver part. Unless you are talking about the boot on the other end..that's a negative.

these are a great value and easy to install.
Had a friend get one and he thought it would be hard to do,
so he turned it over to me.
10 minutes and it was ready to reinstall

awesome! i think i'm about to have to change mine, as i'm getting that driveline grumble when in 4WD, and you can still hear a light grumble in 2WD. glad to see it's a reasonable cost for repair. soon as funds are available (and i verify the actual culprit) i'll be ordering one.
