Hey guys, I have a clicking noise in the front in driver side when in 4 wheel and sounds like I'm dragging a chain when in 2 wheel. Pretty sure that's the CV axle. What do you guys think

Check the driveshaft CV boots, mainly the tcase end. Or take the DS off and see how it sounds.

I thought if you took the CV shaft out that'd be bad news bears

You can take the drive shaft out and be fine, just don't put it in 4WD. Same for the others, just plug the holes with a rag in the diff.
