I have a 2006 Jeep Liberty. I would like to disable remote power door lock actuation. I have taken the battery out of the key fob, but wanted the power door lock option turned off inside the computer or body control module. Is there a manual way of doing this? The lock safety feature at 15 mph can stay. I have heard about EVIC, but do not have this installed to my knowledge. There is supposed to be an app (Appcar DiagFCA) that installs on Windows and a module for the OBDII connector that could be used to make the adjustment, but I do not have Windows or a laptop. Aside from disconnecting and stowing the power door lock connectors, an easier way would be welcome. Thanks.
