Paid 4k - full service history & lots and lots spent on it, have all receipts.
No rust, no issues as far as I can see. Had a sport before this one, but I do appreciate the heated seats now!

75 thousand miles on the clock.
Opinions?

Looks nice and clean for a 20+ year old Jeep.

4k? It's harder to tell, if you're in the EU somewhere? It's a RHD so pretty fair to assume it's a UK origin Jeep? I also have a RHD Liberty (Cherokee), an 05. But here in the States that is a pretty rare machine and had to cough up 7k for mine, needing some minor mechanical repairs. So for a KJ that clean, and a real "Cherokee" 4k sounds pretty sweet to me...LOL.

I've had exactly 2 Liberties, both '05's. The in back in use, one is now parts. The one I am driving came to me about 7 years ago with a stack of past maintenance receipts about 2" thick. (I joke not). The downside is that they need more maintenance than lets say a sedan, but they're easy to work on and if you can read (you obviously can) you can work on your jeep.

Seems the most common failures are the ball joints/ water pumps/cooling fans/rear control arm/front control arms dust boots and universals. Some other oddities like the ignition switch seems to fail and the microswitch in the rear door as well. Parts are pretty cheap.

CHANGE your trans fluid and filter yearly and motor oil as often as needed.

If you keep your fluids fresh and drive it easy it might last you to 300k...

I can say it looks nice, but I can't say gem until I know what it is. 2.8 CRD? 3.7? Auto or manual?

It says CRD on the back! ;-)
It does, indeed. I hadn't enlarged that photo. But the question is still out there whether it has two pedals or three. And before someone comments that CRDs were only available as autos, this is a European Cherokee and not a N. American Liberty.
