Cv axle problems

I recently put a rockys off-road lift on my 2003 liberty renegade. I gained a little over 2 inches at the wheel well. When making turns in 4-hi, there is a clicking from the drivers side wheel well. The sound appears in 2wd as well, although in two wheel drive the degree I turn must be sharper to make the click. What else besides my cv joint could this be? If my cv axle goes bad where can I buy an upgraded heavy duty and more mobile axle?

by the way you measure left front, middle of the wheel, ( hub area ) to the bottom of the flare to get how much lift you got
