Cruise without ABS?

Trying to find out if cruise control came on any KJ's without ABS. Trying to add the cruise kit to mine, but its its not behaving. No, mine doesn't have ABS.

No ABS here and my KJ has cruise control(factory installed though).

Just had the speedo sensor in the rear diff but that is long gone with the 8.25 rear diff.I now have a AC signal generator driven by the t-case to operate the speedo and the cruise still works.

No junk ABS on mine ( 2004) and have cruise , have also installed a couple and no problems

With the cruise servo connected, the jeep stalls when rolling to stop with the clutch pushed in. When I unplug the the electrical connector (leaving the cable and vacuum connected) the problem goes away. :Frustrated:

It seems like the idle is 100-200rpm less with the cruise plugged in.

Being a '05 I'm pretty sure you have to have the cruise activated in the PCM/BCM for it to work.Not entirely sure on the gas KJ's but the CRD's you have to have the cruise turned on via a dealer scan tool.

I also did an 05 without and just hooked up everything and it worked
or don't think it had ABS since it was a bottom of the barrel cheapest KJ the guy could find ( can't remember for sure but )

05 Limited...cruise and no ABS.

2005 KJ no ABS
I installed the cruise kit from Jeeps R Us. NO Problems with it
it's been a few years since the install.
