Thermost at housing sprung a leak days after a small wheeling adventure dont think i got anything jammed into so not sure why?
Picked up a new thermostat Seal and antifreeze once all back together started feeling it through the reservoir and over filled it tried to siphon some off but it only came out of the center spot on the reservoir. Will it over flow and dump out extra fluid or wat is the easiest way to remove extra and get it where it needs to be?

Coolant expands when hot.
Did you have the jeep started when it overflowed through cap or?
Petcock on rad or remove bottom hose off the reservoir- see photo.
Since you had the lower rad hose off, a few hot to absolute cold cycles will be required to set the coolant cold level. Often air has to bleed out, so keep an eye on reservoir.
Coolant does expand when hot, under pressure, and you dont want the overflow happening, so try to drain some out, and check level after sitting overnight.
If you did not start it with the cap off, to warm up, often the level will drop quite a bit after having the system open.
