Hello everyone, this is my first time ever posting on this forum and I'm sorry if this is something that has been asked before, but I am wondering about combining two different lift kits. I drive a 2006 Liberty Sport 4x4 and currently have a 2 inch BDS Suspension Lift on it. Pictures of both the kit and the car with the lift will be added. I am getting the JBA extended upper control arms soon, if there is any concern about that too. Though I like the lift and it added a good few inches to both the front and rear, it's not quite enough for what I am trying to do. I've seen others talk about an SFA swap but I don't have the means of doing that right now, and was wondering if I could add a second lift. The BDS kit uses springs to raise the vehicle, so would I possibly be able to combine that kit with say a Daystar 2 inch kit that uses blocks, giving me a total of around 4 inches? I have no idea if this would work, but I wanted some advice from people that probably know a lot more about it than I do. Thanks to all in advance.

I'm gonna say Nerp on that. The problem will arise with what your cv axles are capable of. Not to mention daystar and bds are junk. I'm sure tommudd will come in and set us both strait. You can get about 3.5 inches without out major mods, just proper setup. Ome springs, 1/4 to 3/8 spacer on top up front and 3/8 at the clevis at the bottom. 2 extra spring insulators for a total of 3 on top of rear springs, don't forget ome or bilstein shocks all 4 and you've a good ride without breaking the bank and still ifs.

NO NO NO NO NO, basically you would get 4 inches of lift but installing a stupid spacer lift on top of even BDS springs is a huge no

NOW, if you just want it to sit in the front yard as a lawn ornament , it'll be fine
With 4 inches of lift even with JBA UCAs you are pushing the limit ( I know I've ran over 4 inches of lift , JBA coilovers which made it doable but still )
Then of course you'll get goo goo eyes for bigger tires and then next thing will be a regear needed

If you want an honest 3.5 and actually have it work well then it can be done but no way can you by mixing sort of bad, with terrible

still amazes me what BDS get out of 4 springs , when 4 OME springs are 360
then we'll here it has rear shocks, but not good ones at all and no fronts
