I changed out my front ball joints and now I have a "clunk" sound on the front passenger side. Any suggestions for diagnostic tests are appreciated as well as ideas for what is happening. All nuts are tightened per torque recs. All new parts were installed.

When you replace ball joints an alignment should be done and inspected by the tech while there.
The front sway bar end links should be inspected for wear or cracks.
Tighten the sway bar to spec once it is on the ground.
Also steering rack bushings check for cracks etc too.

Can you provide some detail of the ball joint replacement? Were the upper control arms replaced, did you do the work?
