Charge Air Cooler Inlet Hose Part Number Question

Hi!


I have Liberty 2005 Sport, 2,8 CRD and my Charge Air Cooler Inlet Hose is broken.


Part Number on my Hose is: 55038729AA,


but on 05kj_PARTS_FICHE.pdf I found Part Number is: 55037729AC



Can anybody tell me what is the difference in those parts!

Yeah my Parts Fiche also shows the latter number: 55037729AC

You obviously have an Export model (Cherokee) which may have some differences to the USA/Canada models.

I would try to get the first number which is actually fitted on your vehicle to be on the safe side.

A lot of members here have changed to the SAMCO silicone hoses which come in various colors and are more robust but if you order from them you may get the wrong part??

My 2002 Export 2.5 L (Cherokee) fixed vane turbo model is completely different to your model...I replaced my hoses with Mopar parts some years ago when the one hose split!

You are right, I have Jeep Cherokee (European model).

So I have to use 55038729AA part number.
