I'm looking at getting the three inch coil over lift but would like a wider stance than the 245\70 \16 is using spacers an option to give me this wide stance with the lift?

Most people here will say no on the spacers, if you want a wider stand just get wheels with the desired offset. I don't know if you can fit 15's you might have issues with caliper Clarence but don't quote on that. I'm sure someone will chime in with more experience on that.

I have run 15" dodge car/truck steel wheels by themselves, and stock wheels with 1.25" spacers. The end result puts the tire in about the same place.

245/75R16 still rubs a little at full lock with the lift. Only tire I ran on the 15s were 235/75/R15, before I bent one, and that was the end of that.

Go to a 7 inch wide wheel with 4 inches of backspacing looks and does great
