Time for brakes. Front is first (2/32"), but might just do all 4 corners.

Will be going with Ceramic pads

Is there any advantage for spending a couple extra bucks to get the drilled/slotted rotors?

No not really, especially if talking drilled , waste of $$$

Make sure you get all new hardware as well, many don't think to replace them

I'd get Centric or Powerstop rotors. I've had good luck with both. Right now I have Powerstop's Ceramic kit and I like it a lot.

Thanks, PowerStop KOE2162 is on its way. I may try to Rustolum the non friction surfaces to slow down the attack caused by Beach use.

Thanks guys, product is here, I installed the front tonight. nice looking stuff, and I like how the ceramic pads stop on the new rotors. Nice getting the hardware in kit as well.

Three out of my five vehicles have Powerstop kits on them. I like them and way easier to just do the one click order than piecing everything together.

Premium ceramic pads with basic rotors are the way to go. I have had good luck with raybestos professional pads, but may try akebono next time.
