Best way to strip factory steel wheels

Hello again all.

I am buying a complete set of the factory steel wheels. The wheels look to have a few chips in the factory silver paint that is exposing the black steel rim in places. I was wondering what the best way to totally remove the entire painted surface to get them back down to just the steel rims?

I'm thinking about getting some aircraft paint stripper and brushing that on. May take a few tries to get it all.

Any other recommendations? Anyone try this task themselves?

That or sand blast. But not everyone has access to a sand blaster. I'd use the stripper. :gr_grin:
