Inspect reverse light connection (socket) is there power these when in reverse?
Or are you trying to add more reverse lights?

I am hooking up a back up camera and need into the reverse light. I tried the thing were you poke the wire when in reverse with the thing that lights up (no idea what it is called) and this did not work.

Probably Brown/Light Green...same as the passenger side.
This according to my 2003 circuit diagram which is probably OK for a 2004 KJ.

Thanks! It was the brown and green one!
