Looking for some thoughts on arb 90009 vs bilstein 24-139168 front shocks with OME lift. I know they are both good choices but arb is almost double the cost, so i’m wondering what is the difference and if it’s justified.

Out of the over 60 KJ lifts we have done here , 85-87% were Bilstein
Some seem to think Bilsteins are weaker, some think OME are weaker
I have used both on my 04 for miles and miles and the differences are not enough to really notice IMO
The only time I suggest the OME fronts are on a CRD when using the 790 springs

Why do you suggest OME fronts with 790 springs? The reason i’m asking is because I’m planning on buying ARB bumper with winch and from what I understand due to extra weight 790 is whats needs to be used up front.

On a CRD with extra weight etc they just seem to work better
I ran a ARB front bumper / winch etc with 790s and bilstein, never had an issue
