Have removed at least 8-10 that both intermediate and CV both came out together
Of course they were in together , splines get worn so they are stuck
I got impression he bought one that way, I've only had one come out separately and that's because there was some kinda failure between the new cv axle and new IM shaft causing them to separate while driving. Luckily both were warrantied.

Check how tight the lug nuts are on all 4 wheels. You might be surprised. And don't ask me how I thought of this .....

On the other hand, this could be an opportunity to install a front diff with 4.10 gearing, and change your rear gears to match. I am running 31” tires on mine with my lift, and would love the deeper gearing to get my power and mpg back. If you might ever install a lift on the Jeep, this could be something to consider.
Thanks for the thought but right now the priority is to get it mobile again, get rid of the clonking - (assuming I'm successful replacing the diff) I will take up the road before refitting the front driveshaft, out of curiosity), get it through inspection in November - then, in the Spring, decide if I'm going to keep it (as a DD alongside 2 XJ's)
