Another question about the RB1 - tuner issues?

Sorry for all the questions but, I just got this unit...

I live in the Metro-Detroit area and for whatever reason the RB1's scan and seek commands will not lock onto some of the radio stations here, 94.7 and 95.5. I believe it also misses 99.5.

Is this an indicator of a bad tuner? It finds every other local station just not a few of the major ones.

Can anyone with this radio confirm or deny this with their units?

Nope, mine only skips if it is not clear enough. Sometimes if there is static, it will just skip. Never had it skipping good reception channels.

Do you have a stock antenna? I swapped my stock antenna for one of those short ones and it cuts my RB1 reception by about 75%. I didn't care because I had the iPod but still...
