...or do I need to have tires on them and be using them?
Picked up a set of 5 for $230. Not sure if that's a steal or not, but they seem pretty rare nowadays and the only set on eBay was NOS, for $800. This set is in decent shape. I'd give them a 4/5.

I want to say he said they were off an 04 TJ but there's a date on them from 8/05 so 06 MY like you're saying.

I remembered there being the stepped and smooth style, I didn't care which I found, I just want all 5 match. Which one is more common?

Yes they only had the step sides on the 06s so he was mistaken on the year
all 03-04-05 had the smooth side

I'm still hunting for another set of smooths.
I only have 4, since the 5th someone butchered a lug hole for some reason.

Thanks! Oddly my local CL doesn't have any JK rims. It's all XJ/KJ/TJ/YJ stuff.

Local Craigslist doesn't have any KJ,XJ, TJ etc stuff at all
but JK wheels, dime a dozen, flooded with tires and wheels for next to nothing
Only reason to think of buying a WK is cheap wheels and tires after I would lift it :happy175:

Good buy. The 06's are unique among Moabs.

I think that price is right as well, I paid $175 for 4, so the per wheel cost is nearly the same. I think that's what they are worth now, about $40-$50 per wheel, no tires, in good to great condition.

I'm still looking for a 5th for my set. Mine are stamped 2003.

Nice find HJ. I almost bought a set of those from JeepDog when he took them off his KJ in 07 or 08 I think it was but didn't. They are nice.

I still liked your OEM grey 5 spokes. Too bad that didn't work out. I still have the OEM silver 5-spokes on mine.
