Need some insight please. Just replaced all components of my ac system. Running a high head pressure. New compressor wants to start knocking. If i back the charge down to where the head pressure is with in range, then system does not cool properly. Any suggestions.
I have checked the radiator electric fan. It is working. But i have some concerns on if it has been replaced before and if the direction of air flow is correct. This electric fan when it comes on blows out, through the radiator, through the condenser, out the front grille. Instantly the compressor shuts down or cycles off and on. On the head pressure switch. Tried reversing the wires on the radiator electric fan to make it run in reverse. Head pressure better but in time once engine is hot or up to temp. Or setting still at a red light. Head pressure climbs. I am afraid of damaging my new compressor.
Thanks
