Adding Cruise Control

My wife's '04 did not come from the factory with cruise control. I know that Mopar sells it as an add-on kit to look just like it came from the factory. Has anyone here tried to install it?

If it's all the same stuff that comes stock, it's gotta work, right? :-s

If your KJ has the correct wiring harness for the cruise control installation it would work. But, I believe that DC discontinued the wiring in the 2004 model year. I can not remember the details, but remember when this issue came up when the the 2004's came out. Go here for the kit available.

Well now I'm all confused! (Aeh)

To be on the safe side, I'll check out the build date. Thanks for the info.
