Hi guys, I had a predicament yesterday while at the beach that had me stuck in 4 low until I had the console pulled apart, shifter pulled out, and the linkage popped off the selector arm on the T-case so I could pop it into 2wd. The main culprit was the cable housing slipped out of the pot metal casting and so the cable had too much slack. Has anyone looked into an alternative fix for this? Like the JK heavy duty cable kits or even just making an shift arm that was bent in the right way to come up through the shifter hole so it can be a direct connection? I can find some photos of the area I am talking about for the casting I am talking about if need be.
