I am glad I didnt go the cheap spacer lift that I was going to do. I now have 20k trouble free miles on my lift setup and 17k on my tru-tracs and grabber at2s. OME and JBA are flawless designs IMO.
I expect it to settle a little more but I have Monroe coil overs to install along with 790s after i finish my bumper. I am working on my 1960 willys so i just drive and wheel the liberty for now.
Some how I bent the springs on my coil overs and pulled the rubber isolators off the tube and had to take them off. Never happen in the past and still run a set on the Trailblazer(I like them). I think I might of got a bad one as the shaft on the right side shows heat stress. I think Tommud sits higher than I do I'm (22.5 in the rear) but I do wheel hard maybe to much air in the dunes this year and springs are getting week. Now that I think about it did have to replace the tri-link this year and that was before pulling them off. I thinking to light in the rear and will have to buy a heavier rear bumper ya thats what I want to do I mean have to do. Ya I know bal bla bla dam pain killers got me screwed up tonight.
Heavier bumper will help a lot :favorites13::rofl: Oh and I'm only a little above 23.5 with full tank of gas, 5 gallons in the extra can, tools, spare parts, bumper, Kilby etc I need to empty everything out some day and measure
I may get to where you are at tom but I am considering the tera 4-1 low kit along with the wide chain conversion. I did this to my xj so why not the kj.
OME springs will settle allot if you do allot of off roading. We went from 4.5" lift to 3.25" and that's with a Frankenlift.
I do as much off roading as I can, usually my dad in the willys and me in the kj. My willys has an advantage just not on the highway.
