2007 KJ CRD value?`

Hi all,

New to the forum. Recently picked up a running, 183K mile 2007 KJ with the CRD diesel in it.
I cannot find a place to get a value on this vehicle... None of the major players like Edmunds and KBB have an option for the diesel in the systems....lol.

Anyone know what the going prices are for these things?

It's in fairly good shape. Needs rockers replaced, but that's pretty much the extent of the rust on it. Carpet is trashed from being used by a mechanic to haul greasy stuff around

Well, in the US they did not sell a CRD in 2007, so that may be why you can't find it.

Worth the same as a gas one IMHO.... because of the gamble of something going wrong with it can get wildly expensive. Bit of an orphan engine that way. 06-07 also have the fancier ABS, traction control, and TPMS which add more layers of costly things to fail.

I firmly believe the manual trans v6 powertrain is the longevity champ.

Rusty rockers are common. Maybe worse on 05-07 because of the plastic cladding. I haven't changed ours yet because it's quite a long chunk to buy so the freight costs more than the part itself. I cut out the worst of it, de-rusted the rest, and blacked-out the lower 5"-6" or so for aesthetics.
