02-07 JEEP LIBERTY (KJ) POLYURETHANE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL BUSHINGS $129.95

Do you feel or hear a “clunk” when accelerating/decelerating? If so then your front differential bushings are a likely cause. The rubber material that the factory used for these bushings is very soft with considerable air space in the bushings, and these bushings are under tremendous strain during vehicle acceleration/deceleration. These three points lead to the early demise of the factory bushings.

Our polyurethane front differential bushings are the perfect replacement for your old cracked or missing rubber OEM bushings. Our replacement bushings are made using polyurethane that is stronger than the OEM rubber and they are 100% filled (no air space) which minimizes deflection between the inner aluminum tube and the outer housing.

I keep trying to find parts for you to spend money on LOL
Are yours pretty much done for ?
I suited up in my Carharts and went out with the head lamp right away. Done for is right!
I pictured you saying “well, there’s your problem”

This keeps up I’m gonna have to get you to sell me a “Designed by Tom” decal for the 07.

How will these impact NVH? Will they transmit more vibration to the vehicle since they're solid?

If they are anything like the solid bushings from Poland (and the ones in JBAs) I put in everywhere else there’s a bushing, they are a superior improvement. I’ll report back once I have these in.

I suspect that in my case, the hard shift mystery clunk should be corrected, finally since literally every other possible component is new and the tra.nny got a clean bill of health from the shop.

I’m my 07, once these and the steering rack bushings are in I’m hopeful. Then again I prefer a tight feeling drive so may not be for everyone.

Small amount I would say
But like mine, with the JBA rear UCAs are basically solid mounted, lowers have the poly bushings and never notice anything at all

Ordered my set this morning. Fairly certain this leaves only the steering rack bushings on Bert the SM.
Thanks again Tom. That clunk has been making my skin crawl since it first started in Colorado last July.
Who woulda thunk an old VW Bug guy would learn so dang much about Libertys in such a short amount of time? Guess thats what a 500$ vehicle gets one these days.

I have 2 wire notebooks full of notes
Nothing is in order
lots of parts no longer available
But most everything is still stuck in my head since I can not find either notebook
Started these when researching lifts in 04 , 2 days after buying the 04 brand new , totally hated the suspension
Should of drove a KJ before I bought one LOL
But bought it online, they delivered it with less than a hundred miles on it , installed a trailer hitch/ wiring, hooked up my loaded 6 x 10 enclosed trailer and drove for over 4 hours to our new house
Thats the way you break them in

It might be less expensive for you to order them from Europe- there are a number of companies that make and seek them in Czechia and Poland.
Keywords are Jeep Cherokee III.
