    Renegade Roof Rack

I have an 04 Renegade as well. I left the roof rack on, but took off the nasty black trim crap. Real easy to do! I put a basket on the rack whenever I need the extra space. Or throw a Thule on top and hitch type carrier for more gear. DJ

OK, so let's be serious...4.7l swap.

"OK, so let's be serious...4.7l swap." I not so smart, but I think that a oxymoron.

Wanna Brag? Heres your Chance...Lets talk HP..

Looked into this a couple years back and came to the conclusion "The Juice is not worth the squeeze".:deal: Re-gear the bad boy if you want some more pep. Only way you can be sure you are getting more torque to the tires. Another option is picking up a 2012 or newer Wrangler with the...

Agree with that. Productivity decreases proportionally to amount of beer consumed. DJ

    Flused the tranny...

Thanks for the info. So the consensus seems to be have it flushed again at a dealership. Pay $150 or so to save a couple of grand later.

    Flused the tranny...

Did Chrysler take legal action or just advise against going to Jiffy Lube? How did my tranny survive the last 25k miles, which was the last time I had my tranny flushed at Jiffy Lube?

    Flused the tranny...

So I took the Libby to a Jiffy Lube today for a tranny flush. I told them the specifics for using only ATF+4 fluid. The guy said no problem and they put an additive in the fluid they use in order to make it compliant with specs. I am a skeptic, but I have to believe being a nation wide chain...

    I'm Back

Just back from Afcrapistan, again. Checking in to see what is new. Did much debating over the year if I should keep the KJ or upgrade to something else (FJ or Rubicon Unlimited, used of course). Well, I am going to save the money and hang onto the KJ. I have owned it for four years and...

    Stretching a KJ's wheelbase.

Funny, you mention the LJ. I am shopping for one now and will purchase it next summer. I can pick one up for under $20k with some where around 35,000 miles. I like the libby, but I am looking to get back to a solid frame and solid axles. DJ

Hmm, I have not seen a basket that does not require cross bars. Good luck.

    Bad Day for My KJ....:(

Ohh man that sucks! Sounds like you made it out alright, which is very good. I was just following you with the new tires and spacers. Damm it! Not sure what the insurance laws are in Arkansas, but hope you are covered. Will it be totaled out? Not sure how a unibody will hold up? If you...
