I doubt multiple coils would be intermittently bad. Agree 100% on the NGK plugs. Lots of plug threads here and they always circle back to use the NGK factory plugs.

Update in case this happens to others. It was the PCM. It was sending constant power to the #6 coil; not a pulse.

KJ electrical gremlins. Always lurking in the shadows. I agree with BillWill. Sounds like an electrical "open" that is fixed when you reconnect the cable. Make sure you have a good ground.
