    Crown axle seals, do they suck?

    The nicks are the problem,possibly the bearing is worn some also. Half ass fixes get half ass results. Was reading as the nicks where on the axle shaft not the seat of the seal. English is my second language.

    Just because;when I did my muffler replacement could tell that some low end was lost. Libby needed to be wound a little more in order to hold speed on grades etc.

    I cut the stock muffler out and replaced it with a Thrush glaspak,had to use a little piece of pipe cause I miss measured,otherwise it went right in. Sounded good.

    Well worth paying someone to do springs if you are going to swap/change them. The monroes are a good choice to just R/R stock.

    As best that I recall the stops for the front fit into a notch type place. No need to drill.
