    Rock Lights

Yes, Ryan is correct, 55 watt halogens. Yup, these are the exact same lights you have in that picture. $18 and change at Walmart. All the HF ones I have seen are bigger than I was looking for. They didn't have any as small as these, but they do have some very low priced lights. I think I'll...

I wired them to my stock fog light switch which was no longer being used. I ran the wires through the frame rails front to back and wired each side together instead of front ones together and rear ones together. front (stupid burned out LED blinker) rear side They will really...

In the front, I mounted mine in the little pocket that the unibody shape makes where the horn goes in its stock location. Since I don't have any plastic fender liners up front the installation was easy and straight forward. The lights point right in front of the front tires. For the rear I ran...

Yeah, California is the same way. I got stopped once for not having my covers on when I was driving through once.

I've always wondered what the glare on the windshield is like with the lights back that far, how it compares to the Renny light bar. I hate the glare my light bar gives.

    Rock Lights

Wheeling at night is too fun too give it up. I think I decided on where they will mount. One set in front of the front tires, mounted to the front crossmber or side of the unibody. The rear set will mount the unibody frame-rail and will shine behind the rear tires. Should work out...

    Rock Lights

I'd like them to shine in front of the tires or at least directly on top the tires so the light is mostly in front of the them anyway. Having chopped my front end up, the front won't be an issue for mounting. The rear I am debating on mounting on the cross member for my rock rails aimed back...

    Rock Lights

I bought a couple sets today and was curious if anyone has installed some on their jeep? I've got a good idea where I want to mount them, but figured I'd check and see what others had done.

Which is why I am rethinking the whole thing. Not sure I want to go that route and get that far into it.

I had a 3 gallon air compressor I was going to mount in the rear of the jeep, and it was a 110v plug in. I've decided not to mount it but I still want an inverter, just not sure how big and powerful I need. I've never really had a large need for one, but one would be nice to have.

I don't know which direction I am going to take. I have one of those portable charger/air compressor/jumper but I don't like lugging it around.

    power inverter

I am planning on installing it on the top of the passenger side rear cargo area, right below the window. I will need to change the location of my flashlight mount, which is easy enough, but then the inverter will be right where I need it most, closest to the thing I will be plugging into it. The...

I saw his write-up on LOST. I need a 120V setup and it needs to be in the rear of the jeep. That KK setup would be nice for the rear passengers though.

More info? Do you have any pics of the setup by chance? I am looking to mount one in the rear of my jeep.
