Worst case scenario, you install a locker and decide to upgrade to 4X4 w/o a locker, you're out $2500 (based on your estimates). Best case scenario, upgrade to 4x4 and THEN install the locker. You're again out $2500 but you have a tank of a vehicle that will conquer virtually all traction...
