beano Yup that is correct!!! It did it when the car was off when I was waiting in the parking lot for someone. Who knows it is just embarrasing lol.- mri

strange noise You might have same issue I have with my 03 liberty. Best way I described it was a farting noise and I probably sounded crazy when I posted that originally. No one seems to know what is but it hasnt caused any problems. One person mentioned the HVAC purging. Anyway it hasn't...- mri

Strange Noise Under the Hood
HVAC yes normally i shut it off when the car is off and turn it on when driving. I just dont know why it would be doing this all of a sudden. I guess something would need to be replaced?- mri

Strange Noise Under the Hood
not sure if this is normal Im not sure if this a normal noise lol the problem is it makes the noise at random times and it's a very fast noise and hard to locate. I'll take a look though. Thanks for the help.- mri

Strange Noise Under the Hood
This sounds funny but my 03 Lib. is making a farting type noise under the hood. It happens at random times while driving, at a light and even when I had the car off the other day. Has anyone experienced this noise before? I'm thinking maybe a pressure realase somewhere but I can't seem to...- mri
