My '02 Liberty has a bump steer problem and pulls to the right. It's noticebly harder to turn to the left than right. And both tires look as though their headed in different directions.
I've had it aligned but the problem is the same. Could it be the recall replacement ball joints?

Not hardly! My '03 Fords have been fine, and every other new vehicle I've had in the past 10 years didn't show wear and simple damage like my Liberty does.
My '02 Limited needs a full body repaint. It has too many nicks, scratches, and dings by the previous owner whom I purchased it from earlier this year.
I'd like to change it from the Limited Blue to White. I've never had a full car repainted and need recommendations and gotchas.

On my '02 I unclamped the intake air tube at the throttle body and sprayed with carb cleaner until shiny and clean. Of course it takes a few extra cranks of the engine the first time after to get it started again.
The driver's window regulator failed two months ago on my '02 and I had to replace it. The window still moved but wouldn't stop moving when at the fully closed position.
I installed the replacement mirror from ChryslerPartsDirect.com today and it works as good as the original. It was only $10 more than the supposed OEM mirror I bought from eBay that wasn't usable at speeds above 40.
I replaced the motor/regulator assembly on my '02 today in about an hour. Works like new!
It would have been nice to have a third hand to hold the window in the full up position which must be done to get the old part out and the new one in.
Mine were replaced yesterday on my '02. I printed the letter from Jeep.com and scheduled the appointment Monday for Friday at 8:30. It took all of about 2 hours with the login/paperwork/logout process included.
