Hey Bennet, can you elaborate on the wiring of your lights? As how you wired them in with your accesories and such. I would love to have mine wired up and not let them be turned on when my pig ain't runnin.
I would say its the weight of the tire. Your the more weight you put on the vehicle the less powerful your brakes will seem. ABS just kicks in when you smash on the brake pedal and would normally lock up the tires, it doesn't allow it to lock up. So i would say no to the bigger tires affecting...
Not exactly true Fouros, I had 245/75 MTRs on the stock rims without a lift and the only place they rubbed was a bit pn the pinch weld and a bit on the front bumper. So it is different for some I guess. I personally wouldn't recommend that tire without a lift though.
Oh how is everyone!? I...
Yep. Cause if you are using a spacer lift you must disassemble the front struts to put the new spacer in place. The spacer seats between the spring and spring seat. If you are getting new coils for up front and using the stock strut, same thing you need a compressor. The only way you would not...
not really sure. He just said he couldn't get the driver side back into specs. Also since I put the lift on, When I hit a decent bump on either side of the jeep I get a terrible Knock from either side up front?? Is this the ball Joints maybe??
So I let my neighbor align my jeep the other day down at Sears auto center. I had my lift on bout 100 miles. He could not get the camber/caster dialed in right on the driver side. The passenger side went into specs just fine. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem after they installed...

Yeah I asked Autozone here if they haqd one to rent but they didn't so I had to go up to my hobby shop on base. But at least they had a drill press for me to use to ream out the strut plates! \:D/
They biggest thing I wanted people to get outta that post was just to make sure you use the right...
Put the lift on a week ago! Let me tell you somethin! It started out as a b-e-a-utiful Saturday morning. My wife, myself and a friend headed up to the hobby shop on base to install the lift cause they had a strut compressor(key word had). So we started on the back and we had the back on in a...

Thanks guys! So If I get some 4" backspaced rims like them soft 8s that would give me a 3' wider track right? I'm not to smart with this backspicing topic. :-k
Does anyone know what back spacing the stock wheels on an 05 sport have? I just put the Rusty's 2.5" coil lift on and my 245/75/16 MTR's rub like crazy on my front sway bar. So I wanna get new rims. So any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys and gals!
