My jeep hasn't been the same since February when it slid on the hwy (see thread here) I am getting excessive body roll, much more apparent when it is windy out. Also getting some wheel hop when I hit a pot hole (wide enough to hit both wheels), probably due to disconneting the rear sway bar. It...
My bro's 2000 GC Laredo WJ, keeps on burning out his driver side tailight. Took it to belle tire (don't ask why), and they replaced the "tailight wire harness". Also headlight flicker. Burned out 3 bulbs so far. Any ideas?
It was Tuesday night, I was driving WB I-196 @ 50-55 mph. We had a big snowstorm Sun Night/Mon Morning. It was snowing lightly, so I didn't want to go fast in case of any icy spots. I was 2WD. Next thing I know I'm doing a 180 and fell into the ditch. Took a while but I got out. I was facing the...
I tried to touch up a deep scratch on the side of my KJ last summer with touch-up paint (brush type). It left a clump of paint. How do I go about leveling it out? Won’t be able to work on it until the weather gets better. Maybe in March or April.
If I'm unactive for 10 minutes if get logged out automatically. For example I check my e-mail, go grab a snack I come back and I have to log in again. None of the other forums I visit do this. Not sure if it's my computer or on your end. Thanks for the help. :)
I just bought the off-road edition (diamond plated) of the Flowmaster Super 44 off e-Bay. Can't wait to get it, should be here by Friday. I'll post a sound clip of it when I get it installed.

So I got a P0442 code few months ago, so I tightened the gas cap and pulled the neg. battery terminal. Came back and decided to buy a gas cap. Long story short, I ended up replacing the spark plugs and negative battery terminal (cracked and corroded). When I pulled the last plug (pass. side...
Got my lift installed few weeks ago! Here's some pictures..I know their poser pics, haven't had the chance to take it offroad.
Details:
Front: OME Medium Coils with clevis lift
Rear: OME Medium Coils with add'l upper isolator pad
Height gained: About 2.5" front and 3" back.
.....soon!! Here is my pile of parts and more is coming soon. I got OME coils front and rear (medium) and rancho shocks. Yesterday, I ordered Rusty's 3/4" front poly spacer and today I ordered Rancho front struts. I am going to add one set of rear upper isolator pads.
I really want to lift my Jeep....but don't want to spend $$$ on bigger tires when the ones I have a still new. Last night, I put a floor jack under the skid and jacked it up 2.5", I really don't think it looked bad with 235/70 tires. I took a picture:
What do you think?? I'm thinking of...
Looking to put together a budget spacer lift. In the rear I planning on putting one upper isolator pad and in the front a 3/4" lower isolator pad from Rusty's. Since my tires still have more than half of the tread left, I don't want to lift it up too much where it would look dorky with my tires...
